New concepts for production – Focus on automation

Already in 2022, Arnold Electronic strategically focused on technological advancement. In collaboration with the ICM – Institut Chemnitzer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V., the conception of an automation solution for the tinning of small quantities was initiated – a forward-looking step towards integrating modern robotics into our manufacturing processes.

The aim of the project was to significantly reduce the effort involved in processing individual small series while simultaneously ensuring the highest process quality. The developed solution lays the foundation for future implementations of intelligent automation in production.

This project was funded by the European Union and the Free State of Saxony – a valuable contribution to the technological empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region.
