Expansion of our manufacturing capacity with GRW funding

🏭 Arnold Electronic invests in manufacturing at its Lichtenau site

We have received a grant under the Joint Task for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures (GRW) to expand our existing facility. The project is now underway. Through these investments, we aim to increase our capacity for custom cable harnesses and electronic assemblies and safeguard existing permanent jobs.

⚙️ Manufacture with precision, inspect with confidence

Four measures are intended to strengthen our manufacturing and testing processes:

• A new cutting machine is designed to prepare cables precisely and consistently for further assembly.
• A wiring harness tester is designed to automatically test cable assemblies and components and document the results.
• A feeding system for an existing cutting machine is intended to reduce manual operations and ensure more consistent cuts.
• The air conditioning of selected production, measurement, and office areas is intended to ensure reliable working conditions even when outdoor temperatures are high.

This will enable us to process customized orders with a wide range of variants cost-effectively. We expect more stable processes, more traceable inspection results, and additional capacity in cable assembly and component manufacturing. At the same time, we aim to relieve our employees of repetitive manual tasks.
